The study of the specific diversity will allow characterizing the community composition variability in each site?, and comparing ecological profiles and geographic regions. Thanks to development of New Generation Sequencing technology a metabarcoding approach is now feasible. The metabarcoding is more cost- and time-effective than the traditional taxonomy based approach thus it will allow long term monitoring.
