Description :
Caryophyllia inornata is a Cnidarian in the order of Scleractinia. This species is a sciaphilous species living on the ceilings of caves and overhangs from the surface to more than 100 m.
Itis a solitary cup coral with conspicuous septa reddish to greenish or completely white with prominent ribs. It can reach 1,2 cm in diameter. The chalice is circular round to oval. The polyp is translucent brown to yellowish, white or pink.
